Fees and Payments

The fees for the Atchison Child Care Association are assessed through the Kansas Department of Children and Families and are subject to change.

An enrollment fee of $50 is required at enrollment.


Attendance and Billing

When you bring your child in or pick your child up, you will need to clock them in or out. This ensures accurate billing. If you fail to sign your child in/out, you will be charged from 6 am to 6 pm. Regular communication with teachers is encouraged to keep the lines of communication open.


Rates

  • Under 12 months: $4.50 per hour (7 hours per day)
  • 12 months (and walking) – 2 1/2 years: $4.15 per hour (7 hours per day)
  • 2 1/2 years (and potty trained) – 6 years: $3.55 per hour (7 hours per day)
  • Ages 6 and over (School Age Kin-5th grade): $4.00 per hour
    • 1 hour min for AM (breakfast and a ride to local schools)
    • 1 hour min for PM (snack and a ride from local schools)
    • (7 hours per day, 5 days a week during the summer)

All accounts must be paid at the end of each month. Accounts 60 days past due will be turned over to collections, and you will be responsible for collection fees, court costs, and reasonable attorney fees to collect unpaid accounts.


Payment Methods

Payments can be made via Brightwheel or check. Please drop your check in the red box by the sign-in/out computer. Cash payments are not accepted.

Brightwheel Options

Manually Add a Bank Account:

If your bank isn’t listed, link your bank account manually by entering routing and account numbers. This process involves two-factor authentication (2FA) and verifying your account with two small deposits. These deposits will stay in your account for 3-4 days before being withdrawn.

Steps to add a bank account:

  1. Navigate to the Payments section online or in your mobile app.
  2. Go to the Settings tab and click Add Payment Method.
  3. Select the ‘Bank account’ tab, then Manual verification, and click Next.
  4. Enter the full name, routing number, and account number. Only add checking accounts.
  5. Follow the instructions to verify the micro-deposits in your bank account.

Add a Credit or Debit Card:

If enabled, you can add credit/debit cards to a student’s billing profile after completing a two-factor authentication process.

Steps to add a credit/debit card:

  1. Navigate to the Payments section online or in your mobile app.
  2. Go to the Payment Settings tab and click Add payment method.
  3. Select the Credit Card option.
  4. Enter the card information and complete the verification process.

Manage Autopay:

Autopay in Brightwheel saves time and ensures prompt tuition payments. It charges the desired payment method for the full balance on each statement due date. Autopay settings can be customized for each student.

Steps to manage Autopay:

  1. Navigate to the Payments section online or in your mobile app.
  2. Go to the Payment Settings tab.
  3. Toggle the My Autopay Status switch to ON/OFF.
  4. Select the desired payment method from the dropdown if turning ON.

Withdrawal Notice

Atchison Child Care requires a two-week notice if you intend to withdraw your child from the center. Please inform the office as soon as possible if you are moving, no longer working, or have any issues. We strive to be amazing and appreciate your feedback.
